Bulkley meats is owned and operated by Jonathan Dieleman, a Paralympic swimmer, Jonathan grew up in the Bulkley Valley on a farm with his parents and 5 younger brothers. The Dieleman family has a love and passion for farming that extends back over 60 years in the Bulkley Valley with Dieleman Ranch which was established in the 1950's. The Dieleman family has expanded greatly since then with a number of children and grandchildren still involved in running the Farms and Ranches now owned and operated by the family.

Still training for swimming with the National Swimming team, Jonathan balances his time between the farm, Bulkley Meats and swimming and training for swimming every day.
